1. About the App

The Bienal Curitiba is a free augmented reality (AR) app developed by OutvisionXR, which allows users to visualize digital artworks and artistic experiences overlaid onto the real world through the device's camera.

The app does not require registration or account creation. Access to all features is immediate after installation.

2. Permitted Use

The app is made available exclusively for personal, cultural, and educational use. By using it, you agree to:

• Use the app lawfully and respectfully
• Not attempt to modify, decompile, or reverse-engineer the app
• Not use the app for commercial purposes without prior written authorization from OutvisionXR
• Not interfere with the operation of the app's servers or infrastructure
• Respect the intellectual property rights of the artworks and content displayed

3. Photos, Videos, and Sharing

The app allows you to capture and save photos and videos with augmented reality experiences overlaid on Bienal de Curitiba artworks.

Sharing is permitted for personal and cultural purposes, provided the source is clearly credited: OutvisionXR / outvisionxr.com. Permitted uses include: social media posts, personal portfolios, and non-commercial informational materials.

Commercial use of captured images is prohibited — including sale, licensing, or use in advertising campaigns — without express written authorization from OutvisionXR and the artists involved.

By sharing photos or videos generated by the app, you declare that:

• You are responsible for the content you share, including obtaining consent from any individuals who may appear in the images
• You will not use the images in any way that violates laws, third-party rights, or the reputation of Bienal de Curitiba and OutvisionXR
• You will credit OutvisionXR / outvisionxr.com in any publication or distribution of content generated by the app

OutvisionXR does not store photos or videos taken by the user. All captured content is saved exclusively on the user's own device.

4. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights related to the Bienal Curitiba app are distributed as follows:

• OutvisionXR: holds the copyright to the concept, code, design, interface, and augmented reality technology of the app
• Artists and partners of Bienal de Curitiba: hold the copyright to their respective artworks displayed in the app

Reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of any content in the app — whether from OutvisionXR or the artists — is prohibited without express written authorization from the respective rights holders.

5. External Links

The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. OutvisionXR is not responsible for the content, policies, or privacy practices of external websites.

Should any legal violation be identified in links provided in the app, OutvisionXR commits to removing them immediately. We recommend that users review the terms and privacy policies of any external sites they access.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

The app is provided as is, without guarantees of continuous availability or freedom from errors. OutvisionXR is not responsible for:

• Damages caused by using the app in inappropriate or unsafe environments
• Malfunctions resulting from incompatibility with the user's device
• Temporary service interruptions due to technical or maintenance reasons
• Third-party content accessed through external links

When using the app in physical spaces, the user is responsible for their own safety and that of others nearby.

7. Free of Charge

The Bienal Curitiba app is 100% free. There are no charges, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or any other form of direct monetization to the user.

Any internet connection costs are the user's responsibility and will vary depending on the plan contracted with their carrier.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

OutvisionXR reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time without prior notice, especially upon the conclusion of the Bienal de Curitiba event.

These Terms of Use may be updated periodically. Continued use of the app after any changes implies acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this document regularly.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by Brazilian law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Curitiba — PR shall have exclusive jurisdiction, to the exclusion of any other court, however privileged it may be.
